This is how he eats his cucumber when I'm not around to make him a salad
Also, Bobby has officially been published in a scholarly journal, yay! WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU!
Easter was fun this year, but it was actually a bit chilly! Go figure. And when we got everyone in playgroup together to have an Easter egg hunt, it was the coldest day we've had in forever, OF COURSE! But it was still a lot of fun. We had it at Stewart Park. Bianca kinda got the hang of it by the end. She didn't care about the candy inside the eggs, she just liked the eggs in general.
Thanks, Gram!
Her Easter Basket!
HAPPY EASTER FROM THE HALLS!
We also went to the Vet school's open house, which Bianca liked last year, but this year she was old enough to really enjoy it.
Bianca gets sillier and more fun by the day. She likes her Easter hat...or more like has to wear it everywhere we go (even if she's dressed down in a t-shirt and jeans going to the grocery store, although it mysteriously ends up staying in the car whenever we go INTO the store...). At the park she likes to go off on her own, especially at Stewart park where she yells "bug" and runs after the dinosaur (lol don't ask).
At the end of April we made an unexpected trip to RI for Erica's mom's funneral. :( It was really sad but I knew we had to go. As soon as she told us we packed up all of our stuff, Bobby put off his studying/homework for the weekend (he didn't want me driving it alone with Bianca, aw! That's my man!) and we went down there. My Aunt Barbara was staying at Nana's house, so we stayed there, didn't get in until almost midnight, but I still say we made good time. My mom came over the next day and we all went to the service. It was so sad, but I'm glad I was able to be there for her. We saw Devan and Sue there too who we hadn't seen in forever. Turns out everyone went to eat at the Farmer (or whatever it's called now) after randomly. Then we just went over to Kathy and Nana's house to see them and such. Went out to eat. The next day we headed out (we were seriously only in RI for less than 36 hours, but it was worth it!) and on our way home said bye to my mom and Punky good kitty, and then stopped by Erica's to visit with her and her family. I hadn't seen her family in so long and it was nice to visit with them again, although under horrible circumstances. Bah.
On a lighter note, BOBBY IS COMPLETELY DONE WITH GRAD SCHOOL!!! He finished way before most people too because he had such easy classes this semester, yay! He's still looking for a job, sadly, but we're enjoying having him around more. We've been going to the park and exploring different gorges everyday. It's been a lot of fun to have some nice family time together.
Isn't that creepy?!?!?!
Bianca was invited to a birthday party of one of the little girls in play group. It was really cute! They had a singer there to entertain the kids, but Bianca did NOT like her, hahahaha! These pictures will do all the talking. ;) She is in PURPLE.
