This Is The Dawning Of The Rest Of Our Lives On Holiday!

This week is Bianca's first week at theatre camp!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited for her. The *only* perk to living here on campus is that the theatre camp is right here on campus. That's good. When we got back to OKC on Sunday, of course Bobby had to go right to work, blah blah blah, so I took the kiddos and we went on a test walk to find the theatre camp, so we could time it out right in the morning (since it starts at 9am). We eventually found it, and it was super easy to get to, hooray! On our way back Bobby calls. I guess the girls in his group saw us walking around campus and wanted to meet us LOL. We were hot and sweaty by that point, but that's ok lol. I'm big and pregnant, I don't have to impress anyone, right? ;) It was nice to meet the girls he's been spending all his time with though haha.

Anyways, on Monday was Bianca's first day, so we took our walk to camp! We went to the main building, and they told us the preschool classes were in a church down the road??? We drove this morning, since it was the 1st day, but we didn't know where we were going (neither did the few people we saw walking around campus), so we had to go back to the main building all frustrated and they pointed it out exactly how to get there since I am SOO awful with directions, as Bobby, lol. But we got to the church and she was excited to start! The theme this week was Holidays, so they were going to do a new holiday every day, so fun!! Mondays are grocery shopping days, so that's what Cam and I did. It was nice to have just one kid to bring around with me though, I must say hahaha. Love you Bianca! It was just a half day camp, over at noon, but she had fun! Seems like they played games and did a craft.

He LOVES playing on our bed, so that's what we did after shopping!

Tuesday was day 2 of camp. We walked today, which was a nice walk,  not too hot in the morning. I took Cameron to our old favorite park we used to go to in Edmond that was near us (never knew the name of it LOL), and he had a lot of fun!! It was nice getting one and one time with him, esp before the baby comes in a few months.

He learned to play peek-a-boo after his baths. It is too cute!!!
Wednesdays are always busy busy busy. She had camp in the morning and dance in the evening (it's funny, one of the girls in her dance class actually went to this week of camp! So she kinda knew someone there). This Wednesday was especially busy since Michelle invited us to go to a playgroup this morning! I forget the name of this park, but it was the one I went to on our last playgroup before we moved to Wilmington. Cam and I got there and said hi to the people we knew and played. Then I guess once everyone got there we all went for a walk to the nature center. I knew Cam would be a pain to make walk, so I pushed his stroller. It's awful because the trail is all rocky, but it was easier than being big and pregnant and carrying him the whole time LOL. It was nice to really catch up with the girls when we were inside the nature center and the kids were playing. Some of them were going to go on another trail, but I had to go get Bianca, so I stayed behind and caught up with Laura Anderson a bit before leaving. It was a lot of fun! I did like that ward a lot. Then we got Bianca, ate lunch, Cam napped, Bianca and I did school work, and then went to her dance class. WHAT A DAY!!!

On Thursday, they were locked out of their building for theatre camp!!! They eventually came to unlock the building, but that was crazy for a bit. I took Cam to Hafer park then to play (he loves all this alone time with mommy, haha!) He had fun exploring and sliding down the big slide by himself, the little daredevil he is. I don't get much out of Bianca about camp, but she says it's fun!

Friday was a big day in the Hall household. Unfortunately Bobby had to go up to Tulsa this morning, but he was going to find out what school he was going to be placed in by the end of the day! But that meant he was going to miss Bianca's first stage performance, boo! :( While in Tulsa he saw 3CG studios though, the girls he went with are going to live near there, haha.

So we took Bianca to camp, and came back around 1115 to get  a good seat for the performance. We got in the front row, off to the side, but still up front. I tried to drive around a lot before to get Cam to fall asleep, and it worked! Score!!! Well, except for the fact that he woke up right before the show started LOL, OF COURSE!!! They did Thanksgiving as their holiday today, so they did a little Thanksgiving Day craft and play. All the kids dressed up as Indians, which was a little...maybe not too PC but that's alright haha. It was cute and she was so excited.

This video is their play. She was so excited to be onstage, hehe. Too cute!!!

Pics!!

This video shows a game they played this week. They learned stage directions, so they showed off how they knew them. Then at the end they all held hands and bowed, but no one grabbed Bianca's hands so she got sad haha. Silly girl. ;)

We went home and ate some lunch and headed out to Jenks! I love going to our HOUSE and getting out of this gross apartment. Did I mention that everyone's apartments here are super gross? Well they are. Bobby said some had a half eaten, rotting sandwich in their fridge (heck ours was kinda gross too, so I had to clean and sanitize it before I put anything in it, yuck! And it had 3 water bottles in there.). Now the big this is that some apartments have bedbugs. BED FREAKING BUGS!!!! Not the ones over here, but in other buildings, GROSS!!! Praying we don't get them because, ew! But yay for going HOME, as much as I love OKC...well Edmond anyways haha.

SO Bobby found out where he was going and what grade he is going to be teaching! Here's his folder from the opening ceremony they had!

He's going to......Bell Elementary, which doesn't seem like too too bad of a school, and he's teaching..............4th grade?!?!?! He taught KINDERGARTEN this summer and they want him to do 4th??? He put that he wanted 3rd or lower. I guess cause he's a guy they put him in a higher grade because women are more caring toward littler ones, but still. Well, this shall be an adventure indeed! At least we know now, and that's great. Apparently the OKC people don't know where they're going yet, and they start sooner than us! But that's our exciting news. We played and picked up daddy when we got to Jenks and spent a nice weekend together, working through it of course, but hanging out a little bit at least! More than the weekdays, so that's great.

My soccer monsters haha. They've been watching a Backyardigans where they're soccer monsters, so that's all Bianca's been singing and acting out lately. Cam loves it too, he'll run around saying SOOOCCCAAAAHHHHHH! Love these kiddos!

Institute Week 3 Plus 7 Years of Marriage

Things here still kinda stink, but it's slowly getting better. Like I said, they're allowed to come home a whole like 15-20 mins now to change after summer school and before their session. Woohoo!!! And we always get to see Bobby for dinner (he maybe missed 1 or 2 dinners the whole summer, so not TOO awful). Nothing too exciting this week. I am officially in the 3rd trimester though!!!! Here's my 3rd tri pic! :)

This week, I concentrated on finishing anniversary presents, yay! Monday has turned into our shopping day, so that's what we did Monday. On Tuesday we went to the park to play! The kids had a lot of fun and it was so nice out (well, we were out by like 930AM so it wasn't too hot yet). We even took a walk and saw the ducks. I love Hugh Macray Park!!

On Wednesday, it was Bianca's dancing class. Since nap before class kinda sucked for Bianca last week (she was kinda cranky), I decided to keep her up on Wednesdays and do her school books with her! It's kind of a fun time we get together. And she is just so smart and loves to do her school work. Oh, and she made a tower for daddy out of paper towel holders, my make up, and her hair bows hahaha clever girl.

Thursday was our 7 year anniversary, aww! Of course Bobby was at Insititue stuffs all day, but we were able to exchange gifts when he came back for his "break" in between school and class. He opened some of his 7 little presents I got/made for him, and he gave me beautiful bracelets <333333. Later during nap time, someone was knocking at the door. Someone brought me flowers!!! Oh my goodness they were beautiful! Gotta love my hubby :)

Gorgeous!!! Bobby's session ended early (they're slowly ending somewhat earlier, he's been home to get the kids in bed a good 2/3 of the time!), so we went out and celebrated our anniversary at the Cheesecake Factory, YUM!!! It was fabulous. Then we drove back to Jenks that night. Erikobby forever! hehe

It was kinda nice being in Jenks on a Thursday because Bobby drove himself to his meeting thing on Friday. And I had the whole day in the house to unpack. I got a good chunk done too! And we played outside some. I love having a backyard for once!!!

We early voted on Saturday, went out to eat, and did the usual Bobby works/goes to McD's for interwebs thing, and then went to church and headed back on Sunday. Busy Busy Busy! When we get back to OKC, we're going to check out Bianca's theatre camp and practice walking there, yay! I'm so excited for her (and she is doubly excited to go)!

Father's Day 2014

Daddy's last Father's Day with just 2 little ones. :) It was a nice weekend. We don't have internet at the house yet because we're only there for 2 (more like 1.5) days a week, so what's the point? Bobby still had TONS of work to do, so he'd go to McDonalds and sit in the car and use their WiFi to get it done. It was annoying, but we did get to see him for more than we had recently. On Saturday we tried out Los Cabos Mexican place here in Jenks. It was FABULOUS!!! So excited to have a good Mexican place 5 mins from us haha. Bobby worked, blah blah blah. On Sunday we went to church and came home and I made a yummy Mexican meal for Father's Day! I made homemade olive oil flour tortillas (BEST EVER!) and we had tacos!!! And for dessert we had tres leches cake, super yum! Daddy loved the shirt the kids made for him, hehe. It was a nice weekend. He did a lot of work Saturday so that he could hang out with us more Sunday, which was REALLY REALLY nice! :) We love you , daddy! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Our First Two Weeks Of Institute

Oh boy! Where to start??? We set off for OKC on Monday the 2nd for Bobby's first day of institute. We had to go back because I forgot his dress clothes lol, but we made it on time plus we got to stop and grab some lunch and check out a place to put Bianca in for dancing classes.

So we get to OKC University and Bobby goes to check in. The apartments look nice from the outside, so we were kinda excited! I was just praying we didn't get a 2nd floor apartment, please no, not me, pregnant with 2 kids, one 20 something lbs to carry up and down the stairs. When Bobby came back from registering he had good news and bad news. Good news was that we got a ground floor apartment, YAY!!!!!!! Bad news was that apparently his laptop got a crack in it. Greeeaaatt. That meant that I had to go out later when he was at his first session and buy him a laptop. Me who knows nothing about technology ahaha. But I got a good one and it was the cheapest one at Walmart so yay. Suck to set us back a bit money wise, but laptops were REQUIRED!!! But that meant I got to have the cracked screen laptop, yay! I don't have to use the old, slow desktop anymore. We just hooked up the cracked laptop to the moniter we had for the desktop and it was as good as new. And fast. I forgot what a fast computer was like. ;)

Alright so the apartment. Pretty on the outside and the worst possible grossness on the inside. Seriously, they did NOT clean or vacuum the apartments out after the college kids left, I SWEAR!!! I wasn't expecting the ritz, but come on!!! I expected dorm style carpets, fine. But I did not expect dirt all over the floor and spiders in the bathrooms. Thank goodness someone left a vase in the dishwasher, because that was the spider killing vase of the summer. GROSS GROSS GROSSS!!!!!!! We had 4 bedrooms, so we picked the 3 cleanest for us and the kids. The 4th was turned into the computer room/kids "playroom." We took the mattress off the bed and turned it into a slide for the kids LOL. They had fun at least. Ugh, this place is so gross though!!! Just 6 week...just 6 weeks. I shall be in Edmond as often as possible LOL!!!

The next day when Bobby left at 6:30AM, I started getting us and the kids up and we left too. We went to the house in Jenks and waited for the mover to come. They actually came when they said they would, so I just kept the kids calm and told them where to put the stuff. We labeled out boxes pretty well, even the boxes that had a million things written on them, we bought labels and put the new locations on each box, so that's what I told the movers. Just put them where the LABEL says, not what's written on the box. They still got it wrong. It took a LONG time to get everything sorted and unpacked because of that. Not a good moving experience at ALL. Blah. They finished in a few hours though, so that was an upside. I ordered some pizza for me and the kids and then we headed back to OKC. I timed it well so they could sleep in the car for naptime and I could listen to what ever I wanted to in the car (don't have very many food cravings with Micah, but all I want to do is listen to early 2000's punk pop music! I guess he's our little emo rocker boy hehe). It worked out, but was just annoying that we had to come all the way back for the stupid furniture.

Institute blows. This first week Bobby just has training, but like from 7/8 AM until 11pm, so he hardly ever sees the kids. I get to see him because I stay up reading waiting for him, and he comes home for dinner (thank goodness), but still, ughhh! Anyways, on the 4th, I took the kids out to get Bianca's ballet uniform she needs. She needs pink tights and a purple leotard, so we grabbed that and she was so excited to start dancing! Seems like a nice place, so I'm excited.

The next day we went up to Edmond and played at our old park we loved. I randomly ran into Laura Anderson there which was fun!!! I miss Edmond. Then we ate at McDonald's for fun and to let the kids play on the play place (which Bianca did not want to climb up into, but Cameron did LOL).

This is how institute makes us feel

Normally we're probably going to go home on the weekends, but since this is their first week at Institute and they're starting teaching summer school on Monday, there's a couple of required sessions they had to attend on Saturday. I hate staying in the dorm, but I am so excited to go back to our old Edmond ward on Sunday! Bobby had a session on Saturday, but the kids and I went over to our friends the Bailey's house. They were having a BBQ to celebrate their baby #3! It was nice to catch up with them again. Michelle May was there too and it was so nice seeing her again. It was a fun time. I wish Bobby could have came to help follow Cameron the Explorer around, but it was nice.

As Michelle pointed out, Bianca and I were matching, haha. Church on Sunday was fun, kinda weird to be back, and even weirder to stand up and say that we were visitors, since it felt like old times. We got to go to Alfredo's this weekend too. I hate that there's free queso with your salsa because I can't have any being pregnant, wah wah! ;)

Life went on the next week. Bobby was even busier! He was gone by like 6/6:30AM to get breakfast and to get to his school. He is teaching Kindergarten this summer! But it sucks because they teach all day, come back, get maybe 15 mins to change (I get to at least say hi to him them, but not the kids because it's during naptime), then he goes to a session, comes back for dinner for less than an hour, and then goes to another session, and then has TONS of work to do after it...DUE THE NEXT DAY!!! So he's out doing the work in a group until seriously 11pm every night. No sleep for him. And I'm a busy single mother during the weekdays heh.

Monday the kids and I went shopping for Father's Day stuff and to get Bianca her tap and ballet shoes at Once Upon A Child (2 different ones lol but we got cheap ones finally)

On Tuesday I was too tired to take them out anywhere, so we just played outside. They like the volleyball court because of the sand. Bianca calls it the beach hahahahahaha. Awww I miss NC. :(

Wednesday was Bianca's first dance class at OKC Ballet! Man, they're...professional there. Doesn't seem like it's too fun for the kids. Of course we're coming from The Little Gym Wilmington which was AMAZING, but still. Bianca had fun, but the teacher seemed a bit serious. I guess it's because it is one of the best places to study ballet in OK, but still. It was funny, one little kid got put in time out because she was hanging on the barre. Bianca told me all about it hehe. But it's a nice place. Cameron enjoys running around. I do not enjoy chasing him. lol. You can't see in the class either, which is kinda sad, but she said she had fun, and us parents took turns looking in the door and sneaking some pics of our little ones, so it wasn't so bad.

Thursday we just hung out and finished Father's Day presents.

We were excited on Friday because we were heading back to Jenks. Who'd have thought I'd ever be saying that?? ;) We ate lunch and waiting until nap time to head out. On Fridays, it's community day, so you go to the city you will be teaching in and they show you around and such. So I just had to worry about getting me and the kids to Tulsa. We picked Bobby up after his sessions at the TFA offices and we were excited to have our weekend with him. Or at least see him for longer than an hour a day.
