A Wild Ride- June 2019

Here we are! Getting settled in, driving around, exploring the area, and trying to get everything unpacked ASAP. Great news this month! BOBBY OFFICIALLY GOT A JOB!!! He was offered a couple, but he chose the job in KELLER ISD to be an online teacher for social studies and English! WOOHOO!! And I got my official offer as well. This month was spent with lots of crazy moments, me studying for my millions of tests, and strange happenings. Let's get on with it!

Family band time:

He loves watching sissy play ABC Mouse and Prodigy!

Trying to get him used to his new room

Still need a TV stand haha
 Walk to Park Glen Elementary:

On the 5th, we took our first trip- LOL! We went back to Oklahoma to go to scatter Granddaddy's ashes. There were a lot of people there, so we sat around a lot and listened to all of the stories about Granddaddy and Granny. The kids also got to go swimming, so that was fun.

Going to scatter them:

BRAUMS FOR THE WIN!!

Bianca brought her computer so the kids could be entertained. Not many decisions were made ahead of time, so we had to be ready at a moment's notice for anything, LOL!

Celebrating Granddaddy with his favorite: Braums Oatmeal Cookies!!!

Example of said "be ready for anything moment": Grandpa comes in and tells us that there is Buffalo nearby. So we go see it LOL! When in Oklahoma...

Something exciting happened to us there though. So, we haven't heard from Bobby's mom in months. His sister cut off her phone and then stopped texting us. We had no clue where she was or if she was alright. While we're in Clinton, Bobby gets a text from his brother, Gale. He says that she is  still in the rehab place, and his sister is about to put her into a nursing home, so she is demanding to see her husband. CRAZYNESS!!! Of course we tell him to tell her we'll be there the next day to see what we could do.

The next day instead of going home, we go there. She told us everything that happened. How her sister took all of the money out of the account that Bobby's dad put in there (not only her money, but he also put in a few of his retirement checks in there in case she needed extra money) and how she wouldn't give back her car and how she signed a deal to make her the person that's in charge of her. We told her not to worry and that we were coming for her. Unfortunately she had to stay in rehab for a little while longer, but once that was over, she was coming to Texas with us.

Since we have noisy kids, I took them to play at the Altus playground while they figured everything out. Sidenote: Micah is so outgoing! He made "best friends" with a little boy on the playground today LOL!! Anyway, we figured out that Bobby's dad will stay in a motel near the rehab place and walk there to see her for a couple of days while we find a place for them to live in down in Texas. Talk about going from not being busy to being super busy! So crazy! We left Bobby's dad there and drove home.

What ended up happening is that Bobby found a place for them to move into, and when her time at the rehab was up, they moved in. It was called "Christian Care" and it was pretty nice! More later...

Our new table, woohoo!

And TV stand!
BTW it is SO hot here! We drove to a playground to get our wiggles out one afternoon when Daddy was out, and man, we stayed for maybe 15 mins. We're going to melt this summer!!

king of the boxes!

When Grandpa moved out, Micah got his own room!! He was so excited!

No more toothless smiles!

Her own room at last!!!!

We also traveled to IKEA a lot. It is super fun LOL!!! We needed new storage things for their toys/books, so we explored the magical world of IKEA.

Super crazy storm we had took down some trees in our neighborhood:

We kept it low key on our anniversary this year. We were going to have Bobby's dad watch the kids for us so we could go out for a bit, but Bobby's mom went into the hospital that day, so we delayed our plans for a bit. She was fine, just checking her blood sugar and monitoring her heart. We went out to eat at the Thai place up the road and then got ice cream at Cold Stone afterwards as a treat.

Did a drive by my new school, eek!!

He loves looking out that window!

Slime boy! Playing with the slime Bianca got from one of her reading challenges at one of the local libraries

This summer Bianca has been a busy bee! She was invited to primary events right off the bat, working on a few reading challenges, AND she was in an Aladdin Jr. theatre camp! She had so much fun at it! She even got her first spoken solo line in a play, woo hoo! We all went to go see her. After we dropped her off for her call time, we walked around a local mall for a bit and got some candies because...why not? LOL! She did SOOO good! Cameron got mad and loud at the end so he got in trouble with Daddy. We'll practice that theatre etiquette. AMAZING JOB, BIANCA NOEL, OUR STAR!!!

Daddy also gave me flowers, just beacuse. Awww!

Doesn't she look like a teenager in these next pics???

Then we went on a quest to find a new couch because ours is old. That was...fun LOL!

The one we ended up with!

We went to a sensory sensitive showing of "Toy Story 4" which was super fun! Cameron watched it the whole time! The kids were free, which was awesome. But the food was super expensive, so it evened out. Still, super fun over all!!

They had a little parade in our neighborhood so we showed up for it. Turns out, not a lot of people came, lol. We saw a family from church though and they let us sit with them, which was super nice! But man, it made the Foster parades look huge, haha!

Then they had our fireworks afterwards. It was POURING out and storming right after the parade, so we ran to our car (a few streets down) getting super soaked! It was nuts! Then the weather cleared enough to have the show, woo hoo!!

Someone gave us this and told us to sign Cameron up and he can just run around, his disability didn't matter to him, aww!
