1 Month- Cameron! (Plus a story)

HAPPY 1 MONTH BIRTHDAY, CAMERON PRESTON!!!

We love you so much little boy! How can you be 1 month already?? Well, you love to eat, and do it often. You have the cutest little skinny legs. You're great at scratching your face, but also at kicking your toys. You love to play on your mat and listen to your star. You hate changing clothes (but who doesn't?). You love mommy and daddy, and especially sissy. You're starting to not hate tummy time and can tolerate it for at least 10 minutes (a big feat for you!) You can sleep in your crib for up to 3 hour stretches. We love having you in our family. <3

So, Bobby went to Wilmington with his dad on Cam's birthday, but the night before we all drove to the airport and stayed at a hotel there, since the weather might be crappy out that morning (it wasn't though). It was nice to all be together and for me to have his help with Cam for one more night. Both kids had fun at least though!

In the morning, Bobby caught his shuttle, and the kids and I stayed until check out time. We ordered some room service so we could eat, and then we traveled home.

Our weekend ended up being pretty normal. We hung out, Cameron ate and didn't sleep, the usual. He was even crankier than usual though, it was as though he missed his daddy (which I'm sure he did!) Of course I spill water from the filter everywhere at bed time so we all were super cranky, that wasn't fun. And Cameron decided to switch to 1 hour sleep blocks, OF COURSE! But, it's all good. The best part of the weekend was when we did our monthly photo shoot and it turned out super cute!

Here is what Bobby did in Wilmington:

"Most of the time was spent looking for a place to live. I looked at about 10 or so different complexes before I settled on Mill Creek. Mill Creek wasn't exactly my favorite, but I loved the size of the apartments there, and I also liked how close it was to church and campus.

My dad and I also took some time to explore what would eventually become our new home. We ate at a few places that sounded good, and we visited some of the local beaches.

I sure did miss my family though, especially my newborn pal! I hated leaving them for a few days, but we didn't know what else to do in the way of jobs at the time."

Then the next day I took Cameron for his first walk in the stroller (only to the office to fax something, but still, it was an adventure)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN, CAMERON PRESTON! WE LOVE YOU!!!
