Visitors!

We've had some busy times lately. First of all, the kids like cuddling in bed together (well for a minute before Bianca gets bored).

Second, we had some visitors these past few days!!! Bobby's grandparents from GA came to visit us, and in tow was his Aunt Wanda, his dad, Riley, Sophie, and her mom Krissy! They stayed right on Carolina beach, with an awesome view, so that was a lot of fun. The first day they got there we went down there and hung out on the beach. We also got them Britt's donuts, which are AMAZING!!! We went out to eat as well, at a seafood place (sorry baby!), so I was banished from Bobby while I enjoyed a tuna steak. ;) We brought Bobby's dad home with us that night. He slept on our couch so they wouldn't have to get an extra room at the hotel. Of course Cameron was super cranky that night and I don't think he slept well, oops!

The next day we went back to the hotel as early as Erikobby could, haha. We hung out on the beach with everyone (Granny even ventured out!) and then we swam in the pool for a bit. Riley loves playing with Cameron and Bianca! Cousin love. When everyone was hungry we went to Monkey Junction to the Golden Corral there, where Bianca had her first cotton candy haha.

Bobby had to go into work, so I stayed with the kids and everyone at the hotel. We all just kind of hung out and relaxed. Later on that afternoon we took a walk, and Aunt Wanda bought the girls some matching necklaces, each a different color, aw! Then my little ones fell asleep in the hotel (Cam in his carriage and Bianca on Papa, haha).

Cameron discovered that he really really likes pulling a blanket right over his face. Too bad we can't always do whatever we like, right?

Bobby came back around this time, which was right in time for the Carolina Beach fireworks! I'm glad we told them to come for the Thursday fireworks, because that view was spectacular! You could see them going off right over the beach. Have I mentioned that we love the beach???

It was an awesome time! I'm so glad they came to visit, even if it was just for a day. These two little ones approve too!

Happy Anniversary From Myrtle Beach!

I have the best husband ever! When the flowers he ordered for me FINALLY came (delivered by a rude lady on her cell phone at like almost 6pm when all 4 of us were starving), we got to go out to eat! We went to this Italian place which was nicer inside than we thought it would be. Oh well. Our waitress wasn't very nice, but the homemade pasta was very very yummy! Afterwards, Bobby gave me my present (I had already given him his earlier that day, and yes, the new Hanson CD was part of it haha)...it was....SMARTPHONES!!! Woohoo! Here's a picture of my beautiful flowers (he's just the best).

And these were my first two pictures on my first smartphone (they're kinda gross involving kids eating food hahaha)

Two days later, we were off to Myrtle Beach, SC to celebrate our anniversary. We've never been, so we were pretty excited. It is a very cool place and we've learned that SC beaches are way better than NC beaches (sorry, NC). We went for a walk on the boardwalk when we first got there.

We stopped in a neat candy shop there and got some treats (gelato for us and a marshmallow Hello Kitty for the princess). She didn't wanna eat Hello Kitty, bless her heart, but she munched on it a little bit.

Next, we walked around until we found somewhere to eat. It was pretty neat, one of those places where they gave you peanuts for free (sucks if you have a peanut allergy). It was pretty good though (and Cameron held his bottle by himself like a big boy, yay).

That night, the Childrens Museum there had a family night, so we decided to go! It was a lot of fun, especially for Bianca! Instead of writing about it, here is a picture story of our time (including a limbo dance, to which Bianca couldn't figure out at first).

When we were done, it was still nice-ish out, so we decided to go to the beach for a little bit, because, why not? It was warm out, just  a bit cloudy.

We called it a night after that, well we tried too, but I realized when we got back that I forgot my bathing suit, OF COURSE! So we had to go out and find me one at like 9pm haha. I got one though, SUCCESS!

The next day our first task was to go to the beach again, since it wasn't going to rain right away (of course there was rain this weekend, just our luck). But we had a blast and out beached the rain!

We ate lunch, went to the beach again (and went in the pool and rode around the whirlpool thing, which was fun), napped, and went out to explore Broadway on The Beach, a place with cool stores, rides, and is just awesome. We got some cupcakes for a treat and walked around exploring. Cam got tired and cranky after a little bit, so we left after that, but it was a beautiful night to walk around, that's for sure!!

The next day we were leaving, so no beach for us, boo! We packed up the car and went back to Broadway at the Beach to explore what we didn't see last night (it's huge!) and to take them on some kiddie rides. It started to get really hot out, so we walked around, got some goodies, did a couple of rides, and were done.

These fish were crazy! Check out the video!!!

We ate at a pizza place before leaving. Hopefully we shall be back someday! We heart SC! To say goodbye to a fabulous trip, here's a video of Bianca singing one of her favorite songs!
