Unfortunately, we had to wake up early this morning so that we could go and do a fun craft with the kids. I showered last night so that I could take the kids while Bobby got ready and loaded the car up. I took them over to where the craft was. We were the only ones there LOL! I'm glad we went though because they got to make Mickey/Minnie Mouse ears...PERFECT for going to Disney World tomorrow!! Bianca loved picking out what color she wanted (I helped her to choose black ears though, because that'd be cuter LOL) and put the stickers on her bow. She was so excited! I asked to make one for Cameron, but I went with a Fantasia Mickey theme with his, with blue ears and white stars on the ears. SO CUTE!! I'm glad we got to go do the craft. Plus it kept them out of Bobby's hair while he packed up the car.
After the craft and we were all packed we headed off to Lake Park, GA to get my mom to go to Disney World! It took us a while to find food for lunch, but we found a Sonic (that apparently moved and wasn't where the GPS said), so yay. The kids slept for most of the drive, which was lovely. We got my mom and off we went to Florida. Man, is Lake Park in the middle of nowhere! Cute town, unlike the surrounding towns, but it was so out of the way from where we were coming from. They only live 10 mins from the FL boarder so soon the kids were in another new state for them, FL!
The drive was alright. We told my mom she'd have the two CDs the kids had memorized by the time we get her back home haha. It's what keeps Cameron asleep amazingly. We got to our hotel and unloaded what we needed, and decided to find somewhere to eat. We saw a Bob Evans coming in, so we took my mom there. YUM YUM! When we were there we told her about Oklahoma, boo. :( Now it's becoming more real. Sad face. Our dinner was good though. Cam played with a straw and it was hilarious. I love our silly kiddos. Then we just went back to the hotel and slept because we were getting up early the next day! Oh, and they did not have a crib for Cam, so Bianca slept with Bobby and I was with Cam...Cam doens't sleep well in a bed with anyone, so it was an awful night, but eh, we survived.
JANUARY 2, 2014
We were up early so that we could check into our hotel to go to Disney World right when it opened! We were going to the Magic Kingdom today. We got there on time and checked into our hotel. We told Disney World we were celebrating Bianca's birthday, so she got a button here and everyone said "Happy Birthday" to her, which she LOVED! We dropped our stuff off and went off to the park on the shuttle! Bianca was SUPER excited and she loved wearing her special bracelet (they gave us a free trial of them, it's how they do Fast Passes now. You can choose what you want fast pass-ed and when you want it and it's programed into your bracelet. SO AWESOME!!!)
This was Bianca's face the ENTIRE trip. SO MAGICAL!!!
Of course we took pics in front of Cinderella's castle as soon as we got there. Everything was still decorated for Christmas and it was beautiful! Crowded too, since it was everyone's Christmas break, but eh, we didn't care!
Our first ride was the Merry Go Round! Cam and Bianca had so much fun on it.
Then Mickey's Philermagic, which was a 3D movie thing. Bianca did well in it. Cameron chewed on his glasses LOL.
Then it was Small Wrold, which Bianca was mesmerized by. Then off to the Little Mermaid ride I believe. Ursula scared the crap out of her, poor thing.
We went and bought Bianca an autograph book after this because it was time for our first Fast Pass. We were going to meet Rapunzel and Snow White! When we booked this trip, that was really the only princess she knew. After her birthday, she got the Little Mermaid movie, so now she knows Ariel too, but it was too late to book the Fast Pass for that. She was in AWE of meeting the princesses! She stood there all shy and smiling so big. She loved it! Cameron like it too (and the Princesses liked him too lol. So much that Snow White gave him a big smooch on his forehead. And yes, we kept it on him the rest of the day hahahahahahaha. Can't wait to show that to your future wife, Cam! :-P hehe).
Next Bobby, Bianca and I went on the teacups, woohoo! Surprisingly, Bianca loved it when Bobby spun us fast. Maybe she is getting more adventurous afterall! Cam was good for Gram, as long as she kept feeding him nummahs. ;)
Bianca and I waited in line to meet Alice and the White Rabbit. Well right when it was Bianca's turn, they took Alice away!! Before a cute 3 year old girl! Boo! I wanted her to meet Alice because that's what she was for her first Halloween. Blah. Oh well. She met the rabbit and wasn't sad at all (although Mommy was disappointed lol).
Time for our next Fast Pass: The Pooh Bear Ride! Bianca LOVED this ride in Asia, so we figured she'd love it again. Well she did at first, but whenever something scary happened, ooooh boy. She got sad and scared. Silly silly Bianca. The things we do to her ;) Cameron LOVES the rides though!
After the ride, the line wasn"t too long, so we decided to meet Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too! I am so glad we did because Cam was in love!! He'd touch their noses and laugh and smile...sooo cute!!! Bianca loved them too, of course!
So cute! Next up we took a rest from walking to meet Goofy and Donald! The lines were kinda long, but manageable, especially because you have to leave strollers outside, which sucks if you have a heavy baby, no offense Mr. Cameron. But we met them and it was fun!
We saw the Country Bear Jamboree! The kids liked it (my mom said it was her least favorite...that and the Tiki Room we went to right before this LOL)
The parade was canceled due to the rain, so that was sad. I remember Bianca really liking that in Asia. It kept on and off pouring, so we hid in a gift shop. I decided to take Bianca to meet Daisy and Minnie. We didn't take Cam just because of the no stroller thing, sorry boy. She was in love! Her favorites!
After this, we decided to brave the line and visit Ariel since she is Bianca's new favorite princess (Cameron too, he loves that movie). It went pretty quickly too, since it was around dinner time and it was nicer out, so people weren't going in that line to be inside somewhere. She LOVED Ariel! She sat with her and was so happy, sweet girl!
Next we went off to ride Dumbo! We weren't going to take a wiggly Cameron on this, so we decided Bobby would just take Bianca, since I went on Dumbo with her in Asia. Dumbo is super cool now. They have a play place inside where you play while waiting for your turn to ride. GENIUS! Cameron was excited to walk around. I think this was his highlight of the day lol. Bianca played until they were called to ride. They had a fun time! And so did Gram, me, and Cam inside...until they kicked us out! Apparently the inside was closing. It was when they were on the ride, so we waited outside by the strollers hoping Bobby would realize where we were (and he did, he's a smart man lol).
Then we weren't going to do this because the lines were so huge for it earlier, but it said a 15 minute wait to meet Mickey. We were going to just wait around for the parade anyways, so we figured we might as well wait in line for Mickey. Yeah. It was over 15 minutes...BUT TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT!!! Mickey talks to you! Bianca was so surprised when he said happy birthday to her. And Cam, who loves and knows Mickey's voice, was thrilled as well. It was definitely a magical moment. <3
Her face was worth it!
We got out just in time for the parade to start, yay! It was really neat! Here's our coolest pics of it.
Then we boogied over to watch the show on Cinderella's castle and fireworks. Yeah well, Cameron fell asleep, then woke up and cried a lot, so we decided to skip the fireworks and head back before all the crowds. We've seen Disney fireworks anyways. What an awesome day in the Magic Kingdom!
JANUARY 3, 2014
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS DAY!
We woke up early and left for Hollywood Studios for the day! We were so excited, especially for Bianca because Sofia was here and we had Fast Passes for the Disney Jr. show. Today was nice and sunny and not rainy, but COLD! As soon as we got there, we got some breakfast before deciding our route today. This was going to be a less busy day since the park closes earlier. The park is so beautiful at Christmas time!!
We decided to meet Sofia the First first (haha). Cam was cranky, so Bobby just pushed him around for a while (he hates the cold, poor guy, can't blame him). Bianca was SOOO excited! She danced with her, gave her a hug, walked away, and ran back for one more hug haha. That's our girl!
We decided to go on some rides next. We did the Muppets 3D show, which is always super fun. And we saw the Little Mermaid show, which both kids enjoyed (except Bianca when Ursula came on of course). And the Movie ride which is really not kid friendly, which we forgot. Cam was fine since he's still so little, but Bianca HATED it! Oops! My mom liked that one though, so at least one of us had fun haha.
Then we headed back for the Disney Jr. show area and saw that Jake's line to meet him was pretty short, so we did that! Cam actually got to meet him, and I think he may have recognized him. It's cute, whenever they switched out Sofias or Jakes, Jake would come, take Sofia's hand and they'd walk away together. Cute!!
We hung out in the gift shop for warmth and to pass some time before the Disney Jr. show, and my mom bought Bianca some princess dolls which she is OBSESSED with (and some Mickey cookie cutters for Cam's birthday party, yay!)! Thanks, Gram! Then it was time for the show, hooray! It was SO awesome! Here's a ton of pics of it. Cameron was smiling the whole time and Bianca was singing along having a blast. I loved it!!
After this, we found Chip and Dale with no line! So yeah we had to say hello!!
We were STARVING by then, but found nowhere inside where we could eat and not freeze, boo!! So we just grabbed some more pizza/fries/junk and ate outside, ugh! Next time MAKE RESERVATIONS SOMEWHERE! It's so worth it!! Then Bobby and I went onto the Rockin' Roller Coaster, our favorite ride in this park! So awesome! But then I noticed something when we left...I LEFT MY CAMERA NEAR THE ROLLER COASTER RIDE!!! HOLY CRAP!! I had a mini heart attack and ran back to look for it. It wasn't there, so I asked a couple of people around there if they'd seen an old crappy camera. Some awesome person calmed me down and said that one of the park employees took it and was going to bring it to the lost and found. PHEW! Heart attack over. I would have had the few pics I took on my phone plus my mom's pics...but I took some darn good ones and I hadn't put Christmas pics on the computer Thank goodness it was found. We'd get it later since lost and found was out of the way,
So we just got in line for the Beauty and the Beast show for something to do. Bianca fell asleep, but she woke up for the show (she had to, no strollers allowed, which is super annoying). It was fun. She knows who Belle is now at least lol.
Then we went to the Fantasmic Show...which was an awful walk with Cam and no stroller. And it was all uphill and it was freezing...BUT WE DID IT ANYWAY! I was seriously shivering throughout the show that's how cold it was! It was worth it though, very cool. Of course Bianca gets scared when bad guys come out, but it was a lot of fun.
Bobby went ahead of us once it was over and took Cam to his stroller since he is so heavy. Us girls stuck together and walked slowly (my mom and Bianca walk slooowww hehe) and went to the lost and found and got my camera back. I LOVE DISNEY!!! So thankful they have awesome employees. That guy should be given a raise hehe. ;) We were done so we headed back to the hotel for the night.
We had such a fun day though despite the cold and losing my camera! My mom watched the kids for a bit so Bobby and I could run and get us some dinner and get the kids a special toy. We got Bianca Lamby from Doc McStuffins and Cameron a plastic Mickey to chew on. We spent the rest of our alone time in separate lines getting food LOL. So much for getting to hang out together. But it was still nice to kinda hang out minus the kids. ;) We all ate and went to sleep.
JANUARY 4, 2014
We were leaving Disney today, so sad!!! :( But not before we ate breakfast with Mickey and the gang! Bianca still talks about how Pluto made her pancakes haha. We woke up and got ready and checked out of the hotel.
We drove over to where the breakfast was at Chef Mickey's and waited until we were called to go in. Bianca was obviously super excited.
She was having fun playing with that little girl in the background
We were starving, since we chose a late breakfast (A. It was expensive and B. It was going to last us all day, or until we got my mom back to Lake Park). Man, was this a DELICIOUS breakfast! The food was amazing. I don't know if it really was that spectacular or the fact that we've been eating junk the past two days, but it was really amazing. The characters all make their way to your table throughout the breakfast, which is fun! The kids loved meeting each characters (especially Pluto, who we didn't meet in the parks), but surprisingly enough, Cameron was more into eating his pancakes (more like devouring lol) than seeing his favorite character haha! It was a great experience, I'm glad we got to do this. My mom even got a pic with Goofy lol!!
(I missed Minnie, boo!)
After breakfast we drove and drove and drove until we dropped my mom off at her house. We stayed for a little bit to stretch our legs (we were just staying in Valdasta, the next town over, for the night, so we weren't in a rush). Then we went to our hotel, ate dinner at a Fazolli's, and went home the next day. What an awesome vacation! I am going to miss living on the east coast next year. :(
