After Bobby got out of work we just drove to Savannah. Wasn't too bad of a drive!

Today starts the fun! We all woke up and got ready to do some exploring today, woohoo!
Our first stop was the Savannah Candy Kitchen, which had some yummy samples, mm! We bought some candy, of course, it is MY birthday after all, and then walked around some more.
My goodness, Savannah is beautiful!! We decided to waste some time walking around while waiting for our reservation at Lady and Sons (PAULA DEEN'S RESTAURANT, YALL!). We walked along the river (where a bunch of Asians took pictures of our beautiful blonde hair blue eyed snappily dressed kiddos haha I swear Bianca should be famous in Asia by now), walked around near her restaurant, and went into her gift store to stock up on some more seasoning.
Find me and Bianca ;)
Finally it was our time to eat! I was SO excited for this! I got the buffet for the fried chicken and Bobby got stuff off of the menu. Of course he goes and tells our waiter that it's my birthday, and all around me, they're singing to other people with birthdays. UH OH! I told him he didn't have to sing...and I believed that he was going to...until he came up behind my back with a dessert with a candle in it and began to sing.TOTALLY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD! AND he gave me an autographed pic of Paula Deen. I didn't see anyone else get one of those. We had the best waiter :) The food was good and it was a marvelous time!
Next, we took a (long) walk to Forsythe Park. It was GORGEOUS!!! There was a cool playground there for the kids to play on, so we let them loose! They had a blast! Then there were some dancers on the stage there, so Bianca started practicing her dance moves heh. We need to tell Miss Freddie about that. When we had enough, we headed back to the hotel. Poor Bianca, she's old enough not to use a stroller (plus with all the traveling we've done, her stroller is dead), so we didn't bring it. She was exhausted by the time we were done at the park.
We rested for a little bit and then went out to find a little bit of dinner. We needed SOMETHING real, at least for the kids' sake, but I was still stuffed from lunch. We just went to some random pizza place (since Cam LOVES his pizza) and they had pizza and I had a salad. Then we went to Leopold's Ice Cream that I saw a bunch of time on Paula Deen's show and on the Food Network. Holy crap! Best ice cream EVER!!! We got the flavor of the month, with was ROSE! I love anything rose flavored, so I was in heaven! We all enjoyed some ice cream (except Cam, sorry bud), and were in ice cream heaven lol.
We just went back to the hotel and relaxed after.

We decided to go to the Oatland Island Wildlife Center today for the kids (and cause it looked cool!) We got ready and set off for it!
It was a neat place! We walked the entire trail and saw all of the animals. The coolest ones were the bobcat, which jumped around and climbed a tree while we were there, and the turkeys, which Cameron decided to spark a conversation with LOL. It was a lot of fun and a nice walk. Here's our pics (and Cam's hilarious vid)!
We decided to drive around a bit and went to Tybee Island. We drove past where Paula Deen SUPPOSEDLY lives, but who knows. We went to the beach and of course it starts sprinkling when we get there, but since Cam was asleep, Bobby and me with Bianca took turns walking on the beach for a little bit just to say we did it lol!
We went back to the hotel, and rested. Then we walked around a bit, went into a honey store and sampled some yummy stuff. I got a mint honey lemonade that was good. For dinner that night, we went to a pizza place that you could put your own toppings on, and it was really yummy!! Then we got...ROSE ICE CREAM AGAIN!! lol! I was a bit obsessed, but hey, it's my birthday and I can eat ice cream if i want to. :-P After that we just relaxed for the night and Bianca sang 22 for the billionth time. ;)

Bobby took today off of work just so that we could drive from Savannah to Charlotte for me to see ALTON BROWN!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! I was SOOO excited!
We stopped at a yummy BBQ place on the way to Charlotte and it was really really good!! We spent the rest of the day driving until we got to Charlotte. When we arrived we checked into our hotel and walked around. Charlotte is awesome! We just ate at Panera Bread and hung out until I had to go to the show.
The show was AMAZING! I had 4th row! He sang hilarious songs and told hilarious stories. He made chocolate ice cream with a huge machine he made and he cooked a pizza onstage. It was pretty awesome. I wish Bobby could have been there with me.
We just drove home the next day. Man, thank you baby for such an awesome birthday weekend! I don't know how you'll ever top it!!!
