I spent all day today making some chili for the chili cook off and trunk or treat at church tonight. I made a pumpkin chili and it ended up coming out so good!!! I loved it! But it was hard work, esp with these boys running around (well, crawling around, Mr. Micah, haha).
Like I said, last night was the Halloween church event, which was a lot of fun! Of course I took tons of pics of us before we went.
Showing off the glitter in her hair!
It was POURING outside tonight though, which was sad. They ended up doing the trunk or treat inside where people would grab a room or a spot in the hallway and the kids would just go down the halls and get candy that way. It was actually pretty fun for the kids. Afterwards, the kids were just running around the hallways being goofy and having fun. It was a nice night!
Bianca and her friend Maycee were both Tinkerbell!
We painted our pumpkins when we got home, which was an adventure. Good thing it was bath time right after, haha! The kids all did well though!
He took a break for snack time, haha
We were SO busy on Halloween, because it was a Saturday and Saturdays are always so crazy here! First, Cameron got to go to music class all dressed up and had fun! He got to play the hand drum and loved it! He played it by himself and I was so proud of him.
Then we went out to eat, as we usually do. Then we took Mr. Micah to get his first haircut. I was sad because it was so cute, but it was getting in his eyes so I gave in. I underestimate these hairdressers every time because the boys always look so dapper when they're all done, and Micah was not an exception! Such a cutie pie with his new haircut!!! He didn't even cry!

AFTER:
Bianca pretty much outgrew her kitty hoodie and I realized we didn't take pics with our matching hoodies!! So here's the long awaited pics. ;)
Here they are in their costumes ready to go out!!!
We headed out when it was just a little bit dark out, with the boys in the stroller, so we could keep track of them. We were hoping for the best, since Cameron LOVES stroller rides, but as soon as he saw that it was dark out, it totally freaked him out. Again. So we tried one house. And he was freaked out yet again. We didn't want Bianca to miss out, so we piled everyone in the van and just drove around. Bobby and I took turns taking her up to houses and sometimes we'd take Mr. Micah with us.
Cameron FINALLY calmed down at the very end of the night, and even though he didn't know what was going on and wouldn't remember it, we took him to one house. He did ok for it too! The old guy who lived at the house gave candy and a pencil, which made his one house worth it. Then he started crying when we left, but luckily it was our last house of the night, so then we just went home and gave everyone one treat to enjoy.
his pencil lol
eating his candy, still sad :(
