SUPER LONG Christmas 2018 and New Years 2019

Dec 19th was my drama club play! The kids did so good!! They had a lot of fun at it too. During lunch, Catherine and I bought them pizza as our "cast party." Then they tried to have us start 15 mins early since our first show went a little bit over (Mr. K's part went on a little long). So I had kids texting their parents frantically. I stalled it though so it started on time lol. Always drama in drama!

Having fun my last day of class before break! Polar Express and graham cracker cookie houses for the win!

I see this billboard every day and keep dreaming about next school year...haha!

We took the kids to the gathering place one night and it was a lot of fun! Their favorite part: rolling down the hill hahahah!

first presents from students, aww!!

they made their own nativity set!

Then we went to Rhema for real and walked through it.

On Christmas eve we like to find fun houses that light up and have music. This did not disappoint!

We had a nice Christmas! We opened presents, sang a lot of songs on Bianca's new karaoke machine, watched Home Alone and The Santa Clause, and saw some more lights and this famous house around Jenks with lots of lights on it.

Gaetanos, yummmm!

We went to Woolaroc during break too. It was a lot of fun. The kids liked the animals. The museum was pretty nice too. It was freezing that day though! But we all survived.

We got so close to that zebra!

A few days before new years eve, Bobby and I dropped the kids off at Grandma's house and went down to the Plano area to check out the Dallas suburbs. We have been to the suburbs of Fort Worth a lot and really like it, so we decided to check out the Dallas side just in case we end up working there next year. We stopped off at the Galleria mall first!

Then our light went off on the van. UGGGHHH! Something or other piston or something needed to be fixed, but they couldn't do it until the NEXT DAY!!! That meant one extra day in the area. Booo! Oh well. We spent FOREVER there too. Blah.

This ice cream is the best!!! So we spent our extra night just hanging out and working. Yay?

When they were finally able to fix the car, we took a walk and found a restaurant that was open (it was New years eve). They got it fixed eventually and we were on our way back!

We picked up the kids and started back for home when on the side of the highway we hear a loud BOOM! Our tire popped because...well...at this point why not?? AAA came and put our spare on. Luckily we were in Moore, which is a bigger city, so we got a hotel and stayed there for the night. We had a reward because of our credit card and got a free item from the "store." We chose ice cream and rang in the new year with it. Goodbye 2018 and bring it on 2019!!
