The Andersons have been great friends to us since we moved here, and Laura decided that she wanted to throw a shower for me! So sweet! I let her have full control over it, and she did an undersea theme (which was super cute!). When everyone arrived, we made little felt fish, which Laura was going to make into a mobile for Cameron...SO CUTE!!! She made a bunch of yummy soups and treats. It was fabulous. Then we opened presents and I'm so thankful for how nice everyone was, even though I didn't know some of the girls very well. Here are some of the pictures from the shower!

We took Bianca to this bouncy house place recently...and she did not like it surprisingly. She was scared of them and only wanted to play with the baby toys, silly girl. Guess we won't be going there too often....
My mom's baby shower pictures also came in the mail. She even gave Bianca a gift, a book about getting a little brother, cute! She loves it!

2013 already?!?!?! Where is the time going? I can say 2012 has been...interesting. We didn't end up where we wanted in the end, but who knows where life will take us now after Cornell! Here's some end of 2012 pictures!
We didn't do much on New Years eve. I made some sour cream cheese enchiladas (yum) and a chocolate coconut bread pudding. We watched movies and waited for the ball to drop. We were surprised that Bianca actually stayed up with us! We were sleepy the next day, but it was fun. Bianca liked watching Taylor Swift perform on the Rockin' New Years Eve thing, and here's her version of a mash up of her song, hahaha!

2012 Highlights
1. Seeing the rest of Australia and New Zealand (love love love Cairns and Queenstown!)
2. Um, how about going to Asia for spring break and taking Bianca to the Disney Lands in Hong Kong and Tokyo?!?!? So amazing!
3. Seeing my sweetheart graduate with an almost perfect GPA from Cornell <3
4. Getting away to South Africa and going on a safari with Bobby
5. Finding out there is a little Cameron joining our family in January (eek!!!)
6. Spending the summer in Ithaca with the nice weather, fun outdoor activities and parks, and nice friends
7. Making a shirt for Bianca that says "Purrfect Big Sis" to announce to my family and friends in RI about Mr. Cameron!
8. Oh yeah! My awesome surprise birthday to Lake Placid, NY and getting to ride on a dogsled and going on a snowy horse and carriage ride at nighttime with fireworks ON my birthday!!!
9. Going on a babymoon to New Mexico with just my babycakes
10. Holidays with Bianca, which were so much more exciting this year (Halloween being so excited to wear her Minnie Mouse costume, so excited for her Minnie Mouse cake/party on her birthday, and having a blast on our own little Christmas) and especially watching her grow up and learn ALL of her colors, shapes, ABCs (well how to say them at least), numbers through 20, and watching her sing her little heart out <3
2013 Hopes
1. Again, seeing where the heck we end up after April-ish...
2. Meeting our sweet little Cameron baby <3
3. Hopefully losing all or most of my baby weight!
4. Introducing Cameron to my RI friends and family!
5. Bianca possibly going to preschool (or at least looking at different preschools for this smart little girl)
6. Maybe go on a family cruise this summer?
7. Maybe taking Bianca to Disney for her birthday
8. Watching our family grow up and grow more and more in love with each other
9. The first 3-6 months of newborn-hood to be over and sleep to kick in ;)

We've had a very blessed Christmas season indeed! We did end up taking Bianca to see the church program at the stake center, and she had fun! They had treats and different manger set set up all over. It was beautiful. They also had a room for kids, set up with toys and crafts. Bianca dressed up as Mary and took a picture with Baby Jesus, haha! She even did pretty well sitting through the musical program, which was nice.

On Christmas Eve, the Burrs found out that we were going to be having Christmas by ourselves (Bobby's parents got sick and didn't want to drive up and get us sick, especially before Cameron comes), so they invited us over to their family's house for dinner and to participate in their traditions, which was a lot of fun and really really nice. Dinner was yummy, Bianca had some kids to play with, and we sang songs, and told the Christmas story, stuff like that. They even gave Bianca some of this expensive myrrh oil on her hand! So nice and so thoughtful! When we got home, we read our Night Before Christmas book and Bianca got to open one present.

Bianca was excited in the morning to see what Santa brought her, a princess chair to watch TV in and a big Foofa!!!
We took our time opening presents, which was fun. We were all thankful for everything we got (even Bobby and I getting each other a baby book for Cameron, haha).
A little bit of candy on Christmas!
I made some yummy scalloped potatoes from scratch and we skyped with my mom to say Merry Christmas! Later on that afternoon, we took Bianca outside to play in the little bit of snow that we do have. It was cold, but she had some fun, so it's all good. We watched some Redbox movies we got and it was just a nice Christmas to ourselves overall! Merry Christmas!!!
