Erikobby's World: Wilmington Divertido!

Man, it seems like there's a festival every weekend here in Wilmington! We recently went to a kid's fest, which was kind of lame, but Bianca got to meet Tinkerbelle and Hello Kitty, so it wasn't that big of a loss I suppose.

Later that evening, there was supposed to be a Kure Beach festival, but the weather was not going to cooperate with us this year. It got a bit chilly and was about to rain. :( We went down there anyway to check it out, but ended up leaving a little while later.

Meanwhile, back on the ranch, we've just been trying to unpack and decorate before Bobby goes to work, which will hopefully be soon! Bianca likes the boxes, they make her happy, so I am temped not to put them away, haha!

Cameron is ALMOST starting to roll over. He rolls to his side and kind of stops. He also has discovered his feet and he does this "trick" where he grabs his feet and rolls to one side. That's our boy!

We've been traveling to different beaches lately, just to be doing it. These pictures are from Topsail Island I believe. It was rainy, but we were already out so we went anyway!

I love making yummy Mexican food for Cinco De Mayo, so this year I made homemade chili rellanos with Mexican rice and salsa, mmm! Then, the best part, I made a Mexican chocolate lava cake for dessert. *drools* Yes, it was as amazing as it sounds. :-P

We've also been spending time looking into different preschools for Bianca to start this year! A lot of them around here are Montessori, but they're kind of expensive and I kinda like the traditional approach to preschool, for Bianca anyway. At this one school, Gateway Academy, they let her try it out one day. She said she LOVED it!!! She proudly showed us her sea turtle she made, so we hung it on the fridge, aw! Pretty sure we'll be going with that school come fall. My little girl is growing up *tear*
