Erikobby's World: Turning Into Pigs

I've been quite the busy bee lately. For Halloween, Bianca wants to be Olivia, the pig from the books and Nick Jr TV show. So we decided to all be the pig family. We're missing the baby pig, so I just bought Bianca a stuffed George from Peppa Pig (I also got her Peppa, but she's not getting that until her birthday, shh!) to stand in as baby William pig. I'm obviously mommy pig, Bobby's Daddy pig, and Cam will be her little brother Ian pig. So while Bianca is in school, Cam and I have been going EVERYWHERE to find outfits for them! It's kinda easy in a way because I'm using regualr clothes they can wear again for their costumes (double usgae for costumes, nice!), but it's a pain to find red and white striped shirts/tights, and other items. Then I'm making the ears myself out of felt and headbands, so yes, busy is a good adjetive to describe me right now. :) I love being crafty though, even though I'm not great at it. Here's what I ended up doing for each costume!

Daddy: He already had a blue shirt and dress pants, yay! Done!

Mommy: I got a purple shirt and purple cardigan from a Clothes Mentor that cost like less than $7 total! Just used my black skirt I had and I was Olivia's mom!

Olivia: The only striped shirt I found was at the Gap, but it was on sale so yay. Then I found striped tights at the Party store for cheap. Then for the red dress, I got a $3 ladies tanktop at KMart!!! Just sewed up the bottom to fit her, put a couple of buttons on and BOOM! OLIVIA! For less than $15!

Ian: Got him a cheap blue shirt and black gym shorts at Walmart, then some star patches at Hobby lobby. I ironed them on, and it looked similar to Ian (couldn't find the EXACT design he has on his shirt, but these stars are close enough). I'm putting Bianca's old pink sweatsuit underneath his outfit so he looks like a pink pig LOL! MAYBE $10 spent, if that!

William: Is just George pig from Peppa, shh! ;)
