Wilmington Endings

Everything is starting to wrap up over here, and it really makes me super sad. We've only been here a year, but we've made such good friends here, it really makes me want to cry whenever I think about leaving. :( Bianca is enjoying her last Little gym classes. Here's some vids I took of her and how much she's progressed in a few short months!

So Bianca is officially OBSESSED with Frozen, thanks Grandma. I swear, she already has the whole movie memorized, and we've had it for maybe a week!!! She HAS to act it out too, my little performer. Cameron loves it too and loves watching her sing the songs. Here are some pics of Bianca singing "Let It Go" and Cameron having fun with her.

Here is our strong man Cameron lifitng up the OU letters we have, and they're super heavy, but he LOVES walking around with them. Guess we know what we have to pack up next, huh? ;)

We were so excited to learn that the last game that Bianca's soccer team was supposed to have while we were away was rescheduled to the end of the month, so Bianca WAS able to go to her last game, yay!!! It was bittersweet. She loved playing soccer with her friends. Our team lost every single game, but hey, they had fun.

Cam had fun picking up leaves and flowers and trying to eat them haha. At the end of the game, all the kids were given a trophy, aw! She was so excited to get one. And a cupcake. Maybe more excited about the cupcake, but still!! We got her pictures too and they are just too cute!

After soccer, was lunch time, and then off to Baby James's birthday party! We will miss the Hatch family so much!!! The kids had fun eating, Cam trying watermelon for the first time, and loving it. The kids all had fun playing together and Pam put on and awesome party, yay!

Our day wasn't over then! After a super quick nap, we went to the beach!!! Gotta get our beach time in before it's all over. So fun!

Yes, it was still a bit chilly out but hey, we still gotta go! Oh, and check out what our silly Bianca likes to do with her toys.

LOL! And we also visited our favorite park for the last few times lately. Here's our fearless little boy conquering the big kids playground!

Cute Cam fact: he's trying to say hus name now! It's obivous he knows his name, but now he tries to say it...except it sounds like...GWENYA!!! He just goes around shouting that whenever we say "Cameron" and it's awesome. hahaha love that crazy boy!

Next post will be all about our gender reveal because we find out baby 3's sex on the 1st, EEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Very Wilmington Easter

We have had a very good Easter this year! It started with an Easter egg hunt at the Battleship! They would section off areas for kids by age and throw a bunch of eggs in there and let the kids at 'em. It worked out well I think. We just took Bianca into Cam's age group since she is pretty gentle and wouldn't push any little ones down for an egg. They made out well! Cam got a few eggs. He likes to hold them and put them in his mouth lol. Bianca liked the candy inside of them.

Next we walked around for a while. We saw the Hurlbuts and said hi to them! Bianca went in the bouncy house all by herself...AND HAD FUN! She hated them last year. Guess she's getting braver!

I wish we were staying here, there is so much fun stuff for kids to do!!! :( Now we're in the stage in the moving process where we're starting to pack up and have movers come over with quotes. How...sad.

On Easter morning we went to church. I took a few pics of the kids. Cam just loves this little pamphlet I got from the doctor's office. The baby on it makes him smile and laugh hahahaha. Love that boy. ;)

Church was nice and afterward we went home for naptime.

For dinner, the Maynes invited us and the Guins over! It was such a nice time, and our kids didn't make big messes lol. We had a lovely meal and nice conversation. I'm really going to miss this ward when we move. :( Happy Easter!!!

Got 99 Problems And a House is One

UGHHH! After all we went through getting the application and FEE to the company in Tulsa ASAP, can you guess what happens???? Well, since Bobby hasn't started his job yet, we needed a co-signer, his mom. Which was fine because she has co-signed for us a bunch of times before. But apparently that won't work with these Bricker and Associate people. Apparently we need to have someone IN THE TULSA AREA to co-sign for us. HOW CAN WE DO THAT IF WE DON'T EVEN LIVE THERE OR KNOW ANYONE WHO LIVES THERE YET?!?!?! The jerks knew this the whole time that his mom lives in Altus. It's only 3 1/2 hours away, really people??? They let her co-sign in Wilmington for goodness sake!!! They just wanted our app. fee, it's so obvious. Jerks!!!

But whatever, we got a house! We are officially going with Bobby's relative's house in Jenks!!! He can get it fixed up before we need to be there at the end of May, hooray! It was nice, just needs to be cleaned up, which I'm sure he will do. I'm so relieved to have a place to leave, but still so angry at that company and what they did to us. Oh and funny thing is, like a week after they told us that they couldn't accept our co-signer, they call back to see if they could "work something out" AKA the house ain't selling. We told them we already have a place so HA HA HA! Good luck renting it out if that's how you do business! It would have been nice not to have to buy a fridge and drier, but it is not worth it to deal with them!

Here are a couple of cute Cameron pics for getting though my angry ranting post. :) He is so cute, silly, and talented. ;)

The Hall Clan Looks For A House: Adventure 2/2

April 8, 2014 (continued)

The first flight was just fine, Cameron slept, hooray! Then when we got to the  USA, we had to go through customs and RUN to our flight, again. Blah! We seriously BARELY made our flight! Bobby grabbed Bianca, carried her, and ran as fast as he could to the gate while I ran as fast as I good pushing my big boy Cameron plus big old diaper bag in the crappy stroller through the airport. But we made it! SCORE! But by that point, Cam was not sleepy...and it was my turn to have him on my lap hehe. He was fine though, we just fed him snacks and switched books a lot. Bianca fell asleep. Bobby must be the sleep master because whatever kid he has falls asleep with him. ;)

So we get to Fayetteville and talk to the lady there about our damaged bag, like they told us to do in Toronto. AND SHE WAS SO RUDE!!! I was nothing but nice, I feel that's the way to be when dealing with a stressful/crazy situation like this, but yeah. She said she "couldn't help us" since it happened in Toronto a couple of days ago and didn't get it fixed then, which showed it was still "usable." BULL!!! The wheels don't work anymore and the framework is COMPLETELY damaged!!! Bobby was just mad, and he made her take it lol. She wasn't going to at first since it was like 630 "and she gets off at 7 and doesn't get paid for overtime." Yeah. She said that. So Bobby ran out to the car and got the suitcase, emptied it out frantically, and brought it in just in time for her. She was even like "oh, you got it, wow!" She said it'd take 6-8 weeks to fix. Now we know we won't see it again, since we'll be long gone before it's done, but it's the principle of the thing! They break it, they fix it! But now, we're down a  suitcase for OK. Uh-oh!

We were starving by that point, so we found a nearby Mexican place and chowed down, then off to Target to get another stinking suitcase, ugh!!! Eighty dollars later, we were saved, so we drove off to Raleigh for the next leg in our journey. All because of this suitcase crap, we got to the hotel late, and we had to stay up late because we needed to pack this new suitcase with stuff we need for OK. I had everything organized in the trunk, ready to go, but with having to dump out the broken suitcase really quickly, it ended up being more difficult to find all of our junk. The kids were being super silly and played with each other, laughing hysterically. At least they made the best of this situation! And eventually we were organized, packed, and asleep.

 April 9, 2014

We headed off to the airport early for our flight. It wasn't too bad getting on the shuttle there with the kids. I can't imagine flying with 3 next year! Cam fell asleep in the airport, and on our first flight. Bianca loved the first flight because they had TVs and she got to watch Frozen, and she was reminded how much she liked the movie!

At the next airport, our flight was delayed a bit, but it was our last flight, so it wasn't that bad, we just had to make our appointment with the Jenks Goddard Preschool! We ate some Chipotle and hung out.

We made it just in time to Tulsa. We (eventually) got our rental car, and then installed stupid car seats. Cameron's is always awful to do, ugh!!! But eventually we got it and went off to the first appointment, a preschool for Bianca! It was so nice and the lady who runs it was so nice. It's in Jenks, which is a suburb of Tulsa, so we're probably not moving there so we'll see. Next we headed down to Edmond! We toured a house, another preschool, ate Sonic, and toured another house. Busy busy bees we were!

We stopped by our Edmond Walmart to get a few things and drove around Edmond a bit. I forgot how nice it is there. If I had to be in OK, I'd be happy there.

We relaxed and just looked up more houses to look at the rest of the night. Edmond for 2 days and Tulsa the other two (WHY CAN'T TFA JUST TELL US WHERE WE ARE GOING??? UGHHHH!!)

April 10, 2014

All we took today were boring house pics, so I won't bore you with those. Here's the story of our day. We woke up and got Bobby's parents from the airport (that's as far into the "big city" that they'll drive lol), and took them to the hotel. We made lots and lots of calls and then took Bianca out to a couple of preschools. One of the Goddard schools here was not up to our standards...but there was another one and that one was great! We shall see where she goes! Then we all went out to eat at Taco Mayo. It was then where Bobby received THE email. I knew it was bad news when he looked at me as we were getting out of our separate cars (our rental wouldn't fit everyone, so I drove one car and Bobby drove the other). They told us where we were placed......

TUL-FREAKING-SA.

:( :( :( Boooo! Hissss! So I guess we needed to change some plans for today. I thought we got OKC for sure with our circumstances and us living there JUST last year, but whatever. It took us all by surprise, and we were disappointed. The only happy people were Bobby's grandparents, who used to live there.

So new game plan. We were able to call and check into our Jenks hotel early and check out of our Edmond one early, yay! So we left right then for Jenks. I couldn't make any calls while driving, but I got some messages before we left so we had a couple of places to see.

We got there just fine. Bobby's parents stayed with the kids and we saw a really cool house. Our most expensive one, but it was super cool. I loved the neighborhood. We shall see! His mom decided to keep the kids with them overnight, so Bobby and I got out and saw a movie, Divergent! It was good and nice to spend time alone together! And sleeping in without any kids was fabulous!!

April 11, 2014

We started our say by seeing the kids (and Bobby's parents lol). Today was our house hunting day. We got to see a bunch. Some highlights (good and bad lol) were:

-We saw a house that we really liked!! It is smaller, and the kitchen is pretty small actually, but the price is right and it comes with a fridge and drier!!! The dining room area has silly wallpaper that makes me laugh too, Italian cooks eating meatballs LOL!! How fabulous. We are so interested! Not our favorite house, but it's worth everything for the price!!!!

-A big house in Tulsa that was older, but had 4 bedrooms and was huge. But we discovered later that we looked up the wrong school district for it and it was an awful school so that was crossed off our list, darn it!!

-One house had listed the WRONG ADDRESS on their website, so we called and got the right one. And they didn't come out to see it with us, they just told us the code to the lock on the door. How shady!!! It wasn't very nice nor was it in a nice area

 - One house was super cheap, but in another bad neighborhood. It reminded me of an old house in New England, but it wasn't for us.

-We drove out to Owasso to eat, hoping some houses I called would get back to me, but no. At least the food was good though. Long drive for lunch though LOL

-We went to Target and got Panda Express for dinner. They got Bianca Frozen and Cam a Mickey book, so that was exciting for them!

-We got to go on a second date!!! First we got ice cream at the Jenks Riverwalk at Marble Slab, mmmmm!!! We were going to see another movie, but nothing looked good, so looking online quickly we saw that the play "Proof" was playing in downtown Tulsa, so we went to see that (I had directed a scene from that play in my directing class in AU). It was nice to see a play again, I miss the theatre scene for sure. We just went home and slept after that. Overall, a good day.

April 12, 2014

Today was a slower day as far as house hunting goes. No one responded to me in Owasso, so I guess we shall be living in Jenks! It' s a relief to know where we're going, even if we're not happy about it. But hey, it could be worse, it could have been Lawton LOL. This morning we went to the Little Gym in Tulsa so see what their classes are like, since we have a gym membership there until January. It was a full class, which is awesome! The teachers are not as great at TLG Wilmington, they're just overly fantastic there, but they were good. Bianca had a lot of fun and Bobby's mom had fun watching her (and Cam had fun walking around and Bobby's dad got a good nap in there lol).

We did see one more house today. it was Bobby's Aunt Wanda's husband's brother in law's house in Jenks. The neighborhood was older, but it was nice! The house was cute on the outside and had rock columns on the outside. He was embarassed because the people who left the house pretty much trashed it, but we looked anyways. It was no biggie. It was spacious, retro, and realy nice! The kitchen was big enough for all of my kitchen junk and the backyard looked nice! Seriously, if this other house falls through, I think this would be our second pick. Just the price and space alone is worth it!!!

Then it was time to take Bobby's parents back to OKC. We ate at a Jack in the Box down there before dropping them off (and we were in the middle of a weird car parade, of course lol).

Then we drove all the way back to Jenks and actually had to take care of our kids tonight, haha. ;)

April 13, 2014

We were going home today...or so we thought. Well, first of all we called the Bricker guy and said we were interested, so he told us to hurry up and send in the application and fee because others were interested in it too. Fingers crossed!!! Well, it was REALLY crappy out, so after sitting in the airport for forever, THEY DELAYED OUR FLIGHT SO WE'D MISS OUR CONNECTION!!!!! UGH! How annoying, especially since we have 2 little ones.

UGH! I just wanted to be home, blah. So we found a cheap hotel, and stayed the night. Again. We ordered Mazzios for dinner and called it a night. We were rescheduled for the next day, since that was easier than getting to our connection stop and not being able to get our suitcase that was already checked and having to sleep somewhere there, so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

April 14, 2014

Well, we got home today, yay! The flights weren't bad, except one flight looked like it was smoking!!! It was just mist apparently, but it was pretty scary to see lol.

When we got to Raleigh, we sent off the money and all the paperwork for the house! We'll find out soon if we got it, eek! We got something to head and headed home, exhausted. What a trip!!!
