Bianca's FIRST Haircut

Bianca has such pretty hair, but it is getting slightly unmanageable and really tangle-y, so we decided to go cut her hair for the first time in over 3 years. I suppose that's long enough to wait. *sniffle* She was so excited to go!!!

Before:

During:

We drove there expecting there to be a huge line, since it was the weekend before school starts for pretty much everyone, but it wasn't that bad! There were like 2 people ahead of us and we had to wait for maybe 10 minutes, or not even. It is such a cute place! They have free arcade games for you to play while you wait. We played a car game where she drove and I did the gas and brake (since she couldn't reach the pedals, haha), so it was fun! She got to sit in a pink car to get her hair cut and they put on Frozen for her! They totally knew her. ;) She was great while they were cutting her hair and did not cry once (how about doing that for mommy at home, Bianca?!?!?!). To save money, I took my own plastic bag and saved a lock of her hair. ;)

After:

Isn't she beautiful?? It looks so nice! I was scared it was going to be too short, but it's awesome! It looks so neat and pretty. That's my girl!!!

Afterwards, we went to IHOP and then to explore the Children's Museum as a last hoo-rah to the summer. It was cute, small, but fun for the time. We liked the big room the best where they had huge tunnels and an even bigger slide all made out of tape! Crazy, right? That was fun. It took a bit to get Bianca in, but eventually she was going all by herself, having a blast! Daddy went in with Cameron, who crawled through it slowly at first, but he liked it too. I wasn't about to get my pregnant self in there, haha. Maybe after Micah comes, because it does look super fun. ;) Then we played in the smaller room which was small. Bianca had fun playing and tried to play with some little boys. Cameron liked running around and playing peek-a-boo with me. It was fun, prob won't go back too often, but it was fun to go to today.

After that, we swung by Bobby's school so he could show us his classroom! We ran into a few of his co-workers who were really nice. We ended up staying a bit later than we wanted to because someone gave him some books and he was helping people too, but it was fun and the kids like walking around his room and the halls.

After naptime, we went with some girls Bobby knew from TFA to get some ice cream at Marble Slab on the Jenks Riverwalk, yum! It was fun. After we ate, we walked around and the kids wanted to play in the little mini-splash pad thing they had there. At first we were careful with them, getting them away from the water, but eventually they (esp. Cameron) kept creeping closer and closer to the water and before we knew it, they were both soaked, hahahaha! They were having fun though and hey, isn't this what summer is all about? If we had known we would have put their bathing suits on before we left home. I can't believe summer is pretty much over. :(
