We had an 80's day at school, so of course I dress up for it LOL! The power went off toward the end of the day (which was super fun), and then one of our students said "Wow, now we can really know what it was like back in the 1980's!"
IT'S LITTLE MICAH, I MEAN, BOBBY!!!
Tonight was a special night! For the first time since we've been in Tulsa, we get to see Hanson, finally LOL! We've been so busy concerts haven't quite been our top priority. It was a lot of fun though! We walked around downtown a bit, got some gelato, saw the show, and then walked around and checked out the baseball game after. We tried to wait until the fireworks came on, but we were too tired. Old people problems, LOL!!! But we had a great date out!
The next day was Bianca's last JDA recital. It was so much fun and she did so well!
Aww, I found these videos on an old computer of little Bianca. We're trashing the computer because it won't even connect to an ethernet cord, so I just recorded some of these cute videos of her when she was a baby. This was back when we lived in Edmond! Enjoy!!!
Kids came with me to clear out my classroom! I'll miss Mitchell :(
Last time at Gaetanos :(
We tried to stay busy the last week we were home. We got everything packed up at last (thanks to Bobby's dad's continuous McDonald's runs for boxes LOL). Bianca even had a last nice playdate with her BFF Chloe. She's going to miss her so much. They played together all day! But alas, the 29th came and it was time to move on out!
It was a VERY busy day. And a VERY rainy day. OF COURSE!!! We tried to keep the kids out of the way by letting them go outside as much as they could. Bobby and his dad made trips to the dump with our old beds we didn't need anymore. We got all new beds coming in from a big Memorial Day sale in Fort Worth, so yay! It got so bad out that they said one bed flew off the truck and when they turned around to pick it up, it was mysteriously nowhere to be found. So weird!
The guys that packed our house up were fine. Nothing to complain about. We got Blaze Pizza one last time for lunch in the POURING rain. Man, we were SO soaked!! But it was sooo good! Then the carpet cleaners came and then the kids and I left. We had went down there this past week to drop off the car and other stuff we didn't trust the movers with so that Bobby could drive his dad and his truck down there.
The kids and I dropped off Cameron's Epic laptop off and set out for FORT WORTH! Goodbye, Jenks. You were pretty good to us for 5 years.

YUMMMMM!!! All of my faves <3
My second graders:
Anthony graduated today, so our whole class went down there to cheer him on!
The 22nd ended up being our last day of school!!! It's been raining (and storming! We had the WORST tornado experience where a tornado came almost right over our neighborhood. The walls were shaking and the winds were so high. It was the most scared I think I've ever been. It was awful!!!) a lot lately, so they went ahead and canceled school at the end of the elementary school's day. Bobby said they told the middle school that DURING a class and they all just went crazy and left their classes (because hey, it's their last hour-ish of class, what do they care?). It was nuts!!! Bianca was sad she couldn't say goodbye to her friends and teachers one last time though, poor thing. :(
So that was interesting. On with the pics!
Bianca and I were going to see if we could do some extra work, but we got so busy we didn't have time. At least we got a cute photo shoot out of it!!
Look at how high the river is!! This is crazy!!
I mean, WOW!!!
They put pics of my students in the TPS office! Woo hoo!!
Chick Fil A Mommy and kids date!Last time at Gaetanos :(

LOL I TRIED TO GET IT!!! WELCOME TO TEXAS!
THE HALLS HAVE INVADED FORT WORTH, WOO HOO!!! The kids and I ate at Chipotle and then went to our hotel. The Hall men came a bit later. Man were we tired! What a long day (esp for Bobby and his dad with all of that moving!!!).
The next day the movers were coming and so were our new beds, yay!! So we showed the kids the new house. They loved it! Cameron was a little scared though. This is a big change for him. He's been in the same house for 5 years, most of his life. Hopefully he comes to love it as much as we do!
1st time in the house:
He likes his fan!
LOVE THIS BED!!! (BTW they did NOT put boxes in the right rooms, grr! I labeled them nicely too)
Bianca and Micah are bunking together until Grandpa finds an apartment
Worn out from all of the excitement!
Celebrated our first day here by eating at Our Cafe, yum!!
Until next time, adios from Fort Worth, TX!
