Anyways, we had a wonderful Christmas full of new traditions. On Christmas Eve right before bedtime we let Bianca "open" one present, which was the book "Twas the Night Before Christmas" (and the Now that's what I call Christmas CD for mommy and daddy LOL!). We all sat on the couch and Bobby read the book to her...as she slept in his lap. It was cute and hey, at least she wasn't screaming!
She was super cranky at night. Merry Christmas, Bianca, haha. We woke up on Christmas morning and showed her what Santa brought her - a Little Einstein play mat! She LOVES it! (funny but true: she loves all the songs the star plays for her...except "Alouette". She dances to every other song, but stops and is grumpy during that song. I think she has a thing against anything to do with birds...)
Next we opened up our stockings, which was fun! Then we all took turns opening up our presents. We had a lovely Christmas morning :)

This girl loves her bears!
She held the rattle for a good 30 seconds maybe, but that's a big accomplishment!
Then we were so lucky to be invited over to Elder and Sister Wood's house for Christmas dinner! We were supoosed to go over to the branch president's house (he didn't want me having to cook, how sweet!), but they all got sick, so the Woods invited us over. I made some yummy Christmas brownies for the occasion.
on our way!
We had a delicious meal and played card games for hours with them! It was a lot of fun and we were so thankful we didn't have to spend Christmas "alone."

The day after Christmas, my mom came to visit us! She got a ride from some friends who were coming up this way anyways, which was nice of them. Bianca had fun getting to know her gram, or as Bobby calls her, "gram-cracker" haha. She brought cute presents for baby Bianca.

Driving around daddy's campus
It was pretty snowy while she was here, but it wasn't too bad. Only one of the days she didn't stay long with us because the snow was crazy (btw NEVER order chicken from "All about chicken" or whatever it's called. yuckyuckyuck!) She even watched Bianca for us one night so we could go out to eat on our own! We showed her around Ithaca and the Cornell campus. It was a grand old time! We even had a photo shoot with the Santa outfit my mom bought her!
What a great Christmas time and a wonderful end to a GREAT year!
