Dancing, Elmo, Mansions, and Music All In One Weekend

Another insanely crazy weekend down! The only thing we didn't do this weekend was relax. ;) On Saturday morning, Bobby went with the young men and women to the temple. Since Bianca is getting out of school soon, we decided she needs another fun activity to do. Since she loves to dance, we are trying out a couple of dancing classes around town. Oh my goodness, she was so excited! I had to take both kids with me, but it was all good. Cameron ate Cheerios the whole time on my lap or quietly crawled around (and read some books they had there). The dance class we took her to was the same lady who did the dance thing at the library, so that was fun! She LOVED it!! Only thing with this place is that if (ok, when) we move, she'll miss the recital, which sucks. :-/ We'll see. We still have this Little Gym place to try out too.

The next thing I had planned for our fun day out without daddy was going to Chik Fil A. Santa Cow was supposed to be there, so we got some lunch and waited for Santa Cow to come! He was a little bit late, but we got to see him. He wasn't out when we took pictures, so they just took a pic with the Elf Cow, but they did get to say hi to Santa Cow as we left (Cam had enough of sitting there, as usual lol).

Next on our agenda was walking around Mayfaire. It was decorated really pretty for the holiday season, and of course Bianca wanted to take pictures with each of the cool things we saw along the way haha. We were headed to the book store for an Elf on the Shelf story time/activity, since we were down there anyways. It was alright. She enjoyed the story, Cam got to crawl around and play, and Bianca got a coloring book to take home. Good all the way around.

THEN (yes, THEN haha) we went to Learning Express where Santa Elmo was appearing (hence her Elmo shirt). That was cute for her, she liked meeting him. Cam was zonked out at that point, but it was still fun. We zoomed home then and had a nap.

Bobby was a bit late in coming home and I was getting worried we wouldn't be able to go see all the Mansions decorated up for Christmas tonight (it was a ticketed event). But luckily he got back just in the nick of time! And it was a lot of fun! People were all dressed up from the 1800's, they had some treats (Bianca's favorite haha), and we saw some animals (well, they took them away right as we were coming, but yes, we SAW them at least, didn't get to pet them, but that's ok...). Here's the pictures!

So this will be the cutest video you will see. Bianca was banging on Cam's tray, and he thought it was just the funniest thing! He loves his sister!

On Sunday night, we went to Carolina Beach where they were having a Christmas show! It was a bit chilly again, but we survived. I'm glad we got there when we did because we were lucky enough to actualy have some seats. The show was cute. Both the kids loved it. They sang songs and had costumed characters come out and dance. They also blew out some fake snow into the audience, but didn't reach us. They threw candy/toys into the audience too, and Bianca isn't aggressive enough to grab one, so she didn't get one, but as if we need more junk in our house. :-P

Oh and look, here he is getting into things and opening up the doors in the kitchen...and pulling himself up on them. Isn't that swell? ;)

Happy weekend everyone!!!
