So I've been trying to find an OBGYN since we moved here, and one finally accepted me. I even sent out an email to the RS to ask which hospital and doctors are the best around here, which helped us want to choose either St. John or St. Francis to go to, but none of the doctors they all liked accepted me. Either they didn't take my insurance or I was "too far along" or they were full with September births already lol. Just my luck. I ended up going with a lady I found while researching online, she had great reviews, so we chose her, Dr. Kirk. She's at St.Francis Main, which we wanted South, but whatever. I needed a doctor asap, so oh well! Here we go!
Here's a cute pic of our princess from Sunday. She is just so beautiful!
On Monday, we did our usual grocery shopping for the week, and then I promised Bianca we'd go on a picnic! It was kinda hot out, but it was fine for an hour. Cameron has decided that he's all of a sudden picky about eating his veggies. >:O So I bought the picky boy some veggie pouches to eat...AND HE EATS THEM JUST FINE!!! He's too old for pouch veggies, but at least he's getting something nutritious in instead of just cheese and bread. Silly silly boy!!! We had a yummy picnic and I let them play outside for a bit until I couldn't take the heat anymore (anything to get out of those apartments lol)
(I'm behind Big Jim's left arm...although you can't see me with the stupid flash lol. I just saw this on CBS.com)
On Tuesday, we drove up to Tulsa for my first doctor's appointment! It was at a sorta awkward time for the kids as far as nap time was concerned,1:45, but at least we didn't have to wake up early to leave. I came preparded and had toys and everything for the kids. The appointment went well and my doctor seems really nice! The kids were good, played with their toys and didn't cry, so it was successful! Yay! I'm glad I found a nice doctor. We just drove back. It was also our 6th sealing anniversary, yay! So Bobby had some time off after dinner and we went to Bricktown and got some Marble Slab ice cream!!! It was nice to have a full hour+ to just kinda hang out with him (and the kids lol). I've missed him so much this summer! At least Institute is getting better every week. Most nights now he is home every night (although he is working in the bed room, but still, he is home and can put the kids to bed with me, which makes everyone happy).
On Wednesday, I took the kids to Hafer park to play. They wanted to swing a lot and feed the ducks, who weren't hungry. They had lots of fun and we got out of the apartment for a while. Win-Win! Then dance class. One girl in Bianca's dancing class was mean to her, so she gets a little bit sad to go in some days, what a sensitive soul. We had a talk about being nice to people even if they're mean to you, and ya know what? The next time she saw the girl who was mean to her, she said she was nice and even gave her a hug! That's my girl! :)
4th of July post coming up next!!! :-)
