A Thankful Turkey Day

We had such a nice Thanksgiving Day weekend this year! But first, here's some pics of our goofy kiddos.

The Peters invited us over to their house for Thanksgiving this year, along with the Flints, so we were so excited! I made a cherry orange pie with was THE BEST EVER!!!

We spent the morning watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and eating some of my staples I can't live without every thanksgiving, AKA boxed stuffing and canned cranberry sauce. I know, kinda gross, but it reminds me of my youth. :) Micah was OBSESSED with the stuffing and ate almost all of it on me! Cameron loved the cranberry sauce, of course, since it's sweet, silly boy.

Thanksgiving dinner was so nice! They had some dairy free potatoes for Sarah that Cam kinda tried. He mostly just ate oranges and cereal and junk we brought for him. He's starting to get really picky on this gf/df diet he's on now. :(

But the dinner was delicious! They had a kids table set up for the older kids and a littler kids table for Cameron and Camille, which was so nice! After dinner the kids went upstairs to play (Bianca had a BLAST jumping on the trampoline) and they let Cameron play their piano. It was so sweet because he was being so gentle with the keys, which is surprising from a little toddler boy. Elizabeth said it was cool, so he had the time of his life! After good times with friends, Elizabeth's daughter started to get really sick, so we all left so they could take her into the ER. :( Overall though, everyone had a great time :)

 The next day we put up the tree, as we usually do. We waited until Cameron was asleep and then had Bianca help us (Micah stayed up a bit with us.) She was a great help this year!

Cam loved it when he woke up! And he didn't try to destroy it (too much, lol)

The next day I was finally able to get my hair cut, and MAN did a lot of my thickness go! It felt amazing afterward! Plus, the hairdresser went and took a pic of all the hair that came out of me, hahahahah! You know you have thick hair when...

It is a bit shorter than I wanted, but it works!

 And here's what we did the rest of the break. It was great and we had a lot of family time :) We have so much to be thankful for indeed <3
